The extension uses Heureka’s pairing reports and matches products based on EAN codes. For items that cannot be paired, it provides intelligent suggestions – such as editing the product name or category so they can be assigned to the correct product page. You can handle everything with just a few clicks, without complicated feed adjustments.

- Automatic pairing by EAN – Pair products on Heureka quickly and in bulk. Pairing Bear uses EANs to correctly assign your products to the right categories on Heureka and prepares a pairing list. If you don’t want to use certain pairs, simply unpair them manually by clicking off the green check mark on the left side of the list.

- correctly filled EAN codes in your XML feed

Connecting data to Heureka
For the modified product data from the Pairing Bear extension to reach Heureka from Mergado, the output feed from Mergado to Heureka must be connected.
If you already have a product feed connected directly from your online store to Heureka and later want to use the feed from Mergado, you must change the feed URL in the Heureka administration so that Heureka downloads the modified feed from Mergado.
Please note that when changing the feed URL, Heureka will start a new pairing process, and products that were previously paired to product cards will be unpaired. This situation may be only temporary, depending on the quality of your product data.
The new pairing process triggered by changing the feed URL runs entirely on Heureka’s side, and Mergado cannot influence it in any way.
